Lately, I’ve been craving stillness.
Not just the kind that comes from turning off notifications or taking a long bath—though those help. I’m talking about the deeper kind. The quiet that comes when we slow down on purpose and actually check in with ourselves.
Somewhere between working full time, managing a house, chasing goals, and just trying to exist as a semi-functional human, I realized something: I needed a space to land. A gentle, grounding space. A little forest for my feelings.
So… I made one. And now, I get to share it with you.
Introducing: Mushroom Mindfulness
Mushroom Mindfulness is a printable mental health journal I created for anyone who’s ever felt overwhelmed, emotionally burnt out, or just stuck in their own head. (So… most of us, right?)
It’s part self-care tool, part creative outlet, part gentle hug in journal form.
Inside you’ll find:
Pages of soft, comforting affirmations—perfect for when your inner critic is loud
Daily pages with mood check-ins, gratitude prompts, and space to draw or brain-dump
Self-discovery questions to help you reconnect with who you are and what you need
Weekly reflections for tracking emotional growth, triggers, and coping wins
Mini coloring pages (because sometimes, we just need to color a mushroom and breathe)
Why I Made This
I wanted a journal that didn’t feel like homework. That didn’t expect me to have a good day or say the “right” thing. I wanted pages I could show up to messy, anxious, tired, or quiet—and still feel like that was enough.
I also wanted it to feel beautiful and earthy. Something you could print and tuck into your favorite binder, or open on your iPad with a cup of tea nearby. A little escape, a little return to yourself.
Who It’s For
- Anyone trying to prioritize their mental health (without making it a big production)
- People who feel disconnected from themselves and want to gently reconnect
- Cottagecore lovers, journalers, or cozy introverts looking for self-reflection with softness
- You, if you’ve read this far and thought, I could really use something like this

Final Thoughts
This isn’t about “fixing” yourself. It’s about being with yourself. That’s the magic of mindfulness. That’s the heart of this journal.
Wherever you’re at right now—I hope you give yourself a little space to just be.
With love and mushrooms (the normal kind, not psychedelics lol),
Hailey
